Checking Your Credit Reports

By federal law, each of the three major credit reporting agencies must provide your credit report to you once annually, for free.

It is important to be aware that there are many so called “free credit report” services which may try to charge you for the information you are entitled to receive at no charge and which are geared towards selling you “credit protection services” and other products you may not need.
